Rihanna jetted off to New York City the other day and seems to be thankfully spending some time away from her abusive boyfriend, Chris Brown. Her uncle Robert Fenty said that the R & B singer seems to be doing just fine. She has however, not been in touch with her father for about 2 weeks due to a lost cell phone that is yet to be replaced.

In the meantime, it seems that for Rihanna, her career and her future is not going to be on a standstill and she is having a number of meetings in New York City in connection with her upcoming album and her role in a movie. Her uncle said that Rihanna is enjoying life and trying to get back on track. Her producer Adonis Shropshire has said that Rihanna intends to come back despite the ugly incident with the ‘Run It’ star Chris Brown. “If you go through something in this world, you have to bring yourself out of it and go on”, Adonis said, on behalf of Rihanna.
